Adrian Mutu and national team coach Victor Piturca have been voted Romanian Player and Coach of the Year after leading their nation to UEFA EURO 2008™.

Poland’s Jacek Bąk has announced his decision to quit international football after UEFA EURO 2008™. “You should know when to leave the stage,” he said.

Nominated by his national association as their Golden Player, Croatia’s Davor Šuker is featured on uefa.com ahead of their participation in UEFA EURO 2008™.

To help mark UEFA’s Jubilee, each national association was asked to nominate its most outstanding player of the past 50 years - Austria chose Herbert Prohaska.
